Our Principles

Transparency
Residents have the right to be properly apprised of all actions under consideration by the local government with sufficient advance notice and full disclosure.

Honesty
Municipal officials must be forthcoming to residents with their motivations and intentions. Decisions made must reflect the best interests of our community.

Accountability
Municipal officials must be answerable and accessible to all residents. Proper justification should be presented for all decisions made in past and future.

Civility
Mutual respect between stakeholders is crucial to the efficacy of the marketplace of ideas. We all live in the same community and wish to be treated with dignity and respect.

Balance
We reject partisan politics as having no place in local government. Open exchange of ideas and perspectives is the foundation of a government by, of, and for the people.

Competence
We believe in meritocracy. Officials and government employees must be judged on their merits and chosen for their skills, not their connections.
